Tehran, June 10, The Iran Project � Former Police Chief has denied the reports of his arrest, saying that the accused in the case of corruption in the��Cooperative Foundation�� has released the rumors.
In response to a question on whether you were in prison, Iran�s Former Police Chief Esmail Ahmadi-Moghaddam said on Tuesday that in the last four months of his tenure, he has dealt with a case of corruption in the �Cooperative Foundation� and he was threatened by the accused.
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in his capacity as Commander in Chief as the Iranian Law Enforcement forces,�replaced Esmail Ahmadi Moqaddam with Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari� on March 9.
Esmail Ahmadi Moqaddam served as police chief for about ten years.
