Qom, June 11, IRNA Chairman of the Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi said on Thursday that the Iranian nuclear negotiating team enjoys full support of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the people and the government.
People from all walks of life and all Iranian officials are following up the process of the nuclear talks, said the senior cleric addressing heads of various commissions at the Assembly of Experts.
He added, while the nuclear negotiations have entered into the phase of drafting the final deal, the other party has violated its previous agreements by discussing new demands including the inspection of Iran's military and research sites.
'The leader of the Islamic Revolution has clearly drawn the main outlines for making use of the nuclear energy,' Ayatollah Yazdi said.
He added that Tehran's trust for the other party is gradually reducing 'perhaps because we witnessed they have made some violations' since the first and second phases of the talks which were held prior to drafting of the final deal.
'Iran's redlines in nuclear talks should be fully observed as underlined by the Leader who had said the talks should continue, but all should understand that Iran would not stop its Research and Development (R&D) activities despite the talks and under any circumstances,' Ayatollah Yazdi stressed.
He added that the Iranian nuclear negotiators 'are completely respecting' the remarks made by the Leader and that 'new demands raised by the other party would only add to Iran's mistrust.'
