Tehran, June 18, IRNA Head coach of US national volleyball team John Speraw has said that their upcoming game against Iran is to be one of the toughest in the second round of FIVB Volleyball World League.
'Since the US volleyball team has the experience of playing in saloons full of spectators, I think that we will have a tough day against Iran with thousands of spectators enthusiastically cheering them,' Speraw said.
Speraw, who has travelled to Tehran for two games against Iran in the second round, described their residence conditions in the Iranian capital as good and welcoming.
'On Wednesday we had a nice tour around Tehran and I assume the boys are happy thay are here in Tehran,' he said.
Speraw said that the upcoming two games against Iran in Tehran in the second round will be more difficult than the previous two games in Los Angeles in the first round because he believed after two wins against Russia, Iran is now in very much better conditions.
US has gained 17 points from the first round of the FIVB Volleyball World League to be on top of Pool B of the competitions.
It has to play its first game in the second round against Iran on Friday night at Tehran's Azadi Saloon.
