Tehran, June 25, IRNA - Promotion of Iran-Kyrgyzstan all out relations was stressed on Thursday in a meeting held by Iran's Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Ali Najafi and Kyrgyz Minister of Internal Affairs Melis Turganbayev.
During the meeting, Turganbayev called for the boost of bilateral cooperation between the two capitals in all fields including fighting against terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking.
Kyrgyzstan is keen to increase ties with Iran's Interior Ministry to share Tehran's experience in fighting against drug trafficking, he said.
Meanwhile, the Iranian envoy welcomed expansion of bilateral ties with Kyrgyzstan stressing there are good potentials to enhance ties between Tehran and Bishkek.
Iran has recently focused on efforts to boost political, economic, security and cultural ties with the regional and neighboring countries, especially the Central Asian states, including Kyrgyzstan.
