Moscow, June 25, IRNA - Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanayee on Thursday conferred on latest regional and international developments with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov.
The two officials met on the sidelines of BRICS/Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of State Council meeting in Ufa, set to take place from July 8 10.
They also discussed bilateral ties and capacities of BRICS/Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of State Council meeting for resolution of regional and international problems.
Morgulov voiced hope that Iranian President Hassan Rouhani attends the BRICS/Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of State Council meeting.
The official emphasized boost of all out ties with Iran.
Iranian envoy for his part called for expansion of bilateral, regional and international cooperation for resolution of world issues.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is a political, economic and military organization which was founded in 2001 in Shanghai by the leaders of China,
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, and Mongolia have observer status of the SCO, though Tehran has already filed an application for official membership in the organization.
BRICS is the acronym for an association of five major emerging national economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The grouping was originally known as 'BRIC' before the inclusion of South Africa in 2010.
