Tehran, June 26, IRNA Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham on Friday expressed outrage at terrorist attack on Kuwaiti Shia Imam Sadiq (AS) Mosque which left at least 10 fasting worshippers killed and 50 others wounded.
She said that Takfiri terrorism, as Iran on several occasions declared the major threat to regional nations, requires collective resolve of regional states to uproot the evil phenomenon soon.
About 2,000 fasting worshippers were involved in Friday prayers when a suicide bomber exploded himself at a Shia mosque in Kuwait City.
Kuwaiti news agency, Kuna, said that Takfiri group ISIL claimed responsibility for the attack.
Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad appeared in the scene after the human tragedy and called for perpetrators of the crimes against humanity to be brought to justice.
