Iran plans to conduct different military drill in the Strait of Hormuz in February, according to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's naval commander, Ali Fadavi, after threatening to close the strait and completing another set of maneuvers.

The semiofficial Fars news agency late Thursday quoted that the Iranian naval commander, as saying that the upcoming exercise would be the seventh staging of an annual drill called The Great Prophet.

It will be started on 21 January (January) and ended on 19 February.
