TEHRAN (Tasnim) � Iran's Captain Mir Saeid Marouf said that two upcoming matches against Russia are difficult since the Russian side will do its best.

Russia will meet Iran on Friday and Saturday in Tehran's Azadi Stadium in pool B of the 2015 FIVB World League.

"We defeated Russia twice in its home turf. Of course, we have achieved what we were intended to do, and that was to preserve our top-level status in the world," Marouf said.

"We will try our best to win the final matches of the preliminary round but know Russia will do its best too," he added.
