TEHRAN, Jul. 07 (MNA) Deputy Head of Iran Civil Aviation Organization has said the organization plans to arrange several flights to Europe in the next few months.
Mohammad Khoda-Karami said the organization aims at updating Memorandum of Understanding with other countries on aerial transportation to increase flight services to meet the demands.
He said that upon the prediction of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), regional flights have more growth compared with domestic or international ones making it a necessity to consider development in flight with neighboring countries.
He reminded that, on average, 65 percent of international and regional passengers are moved by domestic airlines.
Mahan Airlines launched flight between Tehran and Athens by two weekly flights and the Greek company is to commission flights from July 23 by three flights a week, Khoda-Karami added.
