Saturday night decisive for Iran, P5+1 nuclear talks - source

Saturday night is of crucial importance for the P5+1 Tehran talks in Vienna on Iranian nuclear program, a diplomatic source in the Iranian delegation told Sputnik, noting that there are two-three issues tempering the deal.

Iran and the P5+1 group ofinternational negotiators comprising Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and China have untilJuly 13 toreach a long-term comprehensive agreement that would ensure that Tehran conducts nuclear activities only forpeaceful purposes.

In April, the sides reached a framework deal, stipulating that Iran cuts back its uranium enrichment, decreases the number ofcentrifuges and allows the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors tomonitor its nuclear activities inexchange forgradual lifting ofeconomic sanctions imposed onthe country.

The deadline forreaching a final agreement onthe matter was initially set forJune 30, butwas repeatedly postponed.
