Harare, July 29, IRNA - Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe said he was upbeat over hearing the news of a nuclear agreement between Iran and P5+1 group of world powers stressing that Iran's Leader is a commendable politician.
He made the remarks on Wednesday while visiting Iran's pavillions on the opening day of the SMEs International EXPO in Harare.
Speaking with Iranian Minister of Cooperative, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei, Mugabe hailed resistance and resilience of the Iranian nation to secure their rights to the nuclear energy and sent his warm regards to President Hassan Rouhani.
He also called for closer cooperation between Terhan and Harare and said convention of the 8th Standing Commission of Iran and Zimababwe on the sidelines of the EXPO is an opportunity for expansion of industrial, economic and trade ties.
Rabeie and heads of the pavillions briefed President Mugabe on the activities of Iranian SMEs and their acheivements.
Iran and Zimabawe have drafted MoUs to be signed at the end of the 8th Commission.
