Isfahan, August 8, IRNA � Some 147 kilograms of heroine was seized by police forces when they attended scene of a car crash in Isfahan City center, Isfahan City police commander said on Saturday.


Colonel Abdolreza Aqakhani said that upon receipt of phone call of complaint about the car crash, the policemen attended the scene and managed to size a large parcel of heroine in one of the cars.
The police chief said that what drew the attention of the police officers was that the driver of the car carrying the large amount of heroine had escaped the scene although the other driver was responsible for the crash.
He said that special police squads have been commissioned to survey the issue and thus far one suspect has been identified and arrested.
