Shahr-e Kord, Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari prov, Aug 18, IRNA First Vice Speaker Hassan Abou Torabifard said that the parliament is going to set up a special committee this week to review the Comprehensive Joint Plan of Action.
Talking to IRNA here on west of the country, he noted that the position of Majlis towards the nuclear document agreed by Iran and the 5+1 is quite vivid and transparent.
He said the Majlis intended to scrutinize the deal since the document was finalized.
He noted that the parliament has been holding numerous sessions in this regard so far.
Iran and the world powers reached a final nuclear agreement after two years of relentless efforts which put an end to more than a decade of disputes.
The deal, better known as the Comprehensive Joint Plan of Action, was finally signed by nuclear negotiators from Iran and the word major powers known as Group 5+1 (US, Britain, Russia, France and China plus Germany).
The deal is also the outcome of two years of intensive campaign of Iranian nuclear negotiators. They discharged their obligations within the guidelines of the Leader, so that the illegal economic and financial sanctions on Iran were lifted.
