Tehran, Aug 24, IRNA Interior Minister said that no request had been made by any group for protest gathering in front of British embassy in Tehran.
Abdulreza Rahmani Fazli told a press conference here on Monday that police has duty to prevent any gathering without legal authorization and last day the police tried to disperse those who gathered in front of British embassy.
On Sunday, a group around 40 people gathered in front of British embassy to protest against reopening the embassy.
Police said that the protesters had no legal authorization or any kind of permission and so police dispersed them.
