Speaking to IRNA, Mansouri said that the Majlis special commission for examining the JCPOA is scheduled to convene three times a week on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.

Mansouri said that it is most likely that the examination of the JCPOA will last until October 22.

He said that the special commission has been assigned with two tasks: to examine the JCPOA and to give a report to the Parliament.

Mansouri noted that its not important by any means for the Iranian Parliament the results of the examination of the JCPOA by the US Congress and what is important for the Iranian lawmakers is the time indicated in the JCPOA for examining the deal.

All the former Iranian chief nuclear negotiators over the past years, as well as the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi will be invited to the Commission, Mansouri said.

He said that the first session of the Majlis special commission for examining the JCPOA was planned to be held with presence of Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, the former head of the Iranian nuclear negotiating team, but due to his visit to New York, this plan was cancelled.
