KISH ISLAND, Aug. 30 (MNA) A two-day confab on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regional bureau was launched in Kish Island on Saturday.
Attended by representatives from countries in the Middle East region, the seminar themed amalgamation of data base for aviation management information.
"Kish is a suitable venue to host ICAO consecutive meetings," Supreme Advisor for Kish Free Trade Zone Rasoul Keshpour said, adding that the era of economic sanctions is now passing away and such meetings would help increase cooperation between the Arab states and Iran.
Such meetings help increase level of scientific cooperation and also prepare grounds for the Iranian elites to demonstrate their capabilities, he said.
Kish confab, hosting representatives from Kuwait, Libya, Lebanon, Sudan, Oman, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, encompasses topics, including method of cooperation between countries, most significant international developments, violation of regional AIM at flight management information and status of countries committed to implement ICAO.
