Tehran, Sept 3, IRNA Majlis (Iranian parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani in a meeting with his Tunisian counterpart Mohamed Ennaceur in New York warned against the plots of the enemies of Islam hatched as a result of rift among Muslims.
The Iranian parliament speaker called for serious confrontation wit extremism and terrorism as well as the need for unity among Muslim countries as well as prevention of rift among different sects of Muslims.
Larijani, meantime, voiced Iran's readiness to share its experiences in different fields with Tunisia.
The Tunisian parliament speaker, for his part, termed Iran an important and powerful country in the region and the world, and said, 'Tunisia takes pride in the expansion of its relations with the brotherly and friendly country of Iran.'
'The Muslim World has sustained many losses from extremism, violence and disunity,' Ennaceur said.
