Tehran, Sept 14, IRNA � Deputy Minister of Energy for Planning and Economic Affairs Alireza Daemi said Monday that Iran is among the world's top ten turbine producers.

Speaking to reporters, Daemi said that Iran is also among world's top countries in dam building and excavation of tunnels.
He said that Iran exports technical services in the areas of water and electricity to Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Iraq, Syria, Indonesia, Sri Lanka.
Iran is carrying out over 70 projects in more than 40 countries all across the world and plays an influential role in reconstruction of Iraqi war-stricken areas, he said.
