Vienna, Sept 21, IRNA - Irans Ambassador and Permanent Envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Reza Najafi said on Monday that Tehran did not let IAEA inspectors visit or take samples at Parchin site, east of Tehran.
In reaction to the allegations made by Reuters, he told reporters that the quoted news on behalf of Reuters is totally unfounded as Iran did not let any inspectors visit or take samples or even supervise taking samples by the Iranian experts.
Iranian experts took samples by themselves as it was among Iran's redlines and no inspector is allowed to enter into military sites for inspection, he added.
The visit made by IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano and his deputies was public and ceremonial, he said.
They did not carry any cell phones or other related equipment and the visit took long few minutes and they became assured that there was no suspicious object or installation in the site.
Certian media such as Reuters reported that IAEA inspectors took samples in the Parchin military site.
