New York, Sept 29, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said laying illogical conditions will protract finding a solution to the crisis in Syria.
'End of clashes and reaching a fair solution and sustainable peace in Syria are tied to formation of a comprehensive transitional government with the participation of all concerned parties as well as avoiding illogical pre-conditions which can prolong the crisis,' Zarif told her Croatian counterpart Vensa Pusic on Tuesday.
During their meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Pusic welcomed the nuclear deal between Iran and P5+1 group of world powers reached in July.
Referring to the Syrian refugees and its impact on the European countries including Croatia, she said the crisis can influence the seriousness of the European states for the settlement of Sryian crisis thorugh political and peaceful means.
Both sides supported expansion of bilateral ties in economic, cultural, tourism, medical, and transport fields and stressed mutual support in international forums.
They also welcomed exchange of diplomatic and trade delegations.
