Tehran, Oct 4, IRNA Minister of Road and Urban Development, Abbas Akhundi said the Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) should make the final decision for the purchase of Sukhoi passenger airplane and its flight in Irans sky.
Speaking on the sidelines of an international conference on investment opportunities in transportation, housing and urban development, the minister said appropriate and diversified projects will be presented to the investors, the contracts for which will be finalized after the conference.
He said prior to the holding of the conference some foreign entities had invested in Tabriz-Marand Freeway and another route in western part of the country and the domestic private sector had participated in a project in one of the airports of the country.
He stressed that in the aftermath of the nuclear agreement arrival of foreign companies has increased considerably and the conference is the first measure taken for the entry of the investors into transportation, housing and urban development projects.
Akhundi expressed hope that a safe completion of the projects will be accomplished in different sectors of transportation, housing and urban development.
He said the presence of over 300 companies in the conference for presentation of investment opportunities is indicative of the attention of foreign and domestic companies to the projects in road and urban development.
