TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran and France plan to sign four Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) by next month for exports of agricultural products to the European country.
Iran would sell pistachio, date, saffron, herbal medicines and aquatic creatures including shrimp to France, said Director General of Iranian Ministry of Agriculture for International Affairs Houman Fathi.
He said that the MoUs include preserving plants, animal health and veterinary as well as agricultural research and training and boosting grain efficiency and would be signed by ministers of agriculture of Iran and France.
He said three of the documents have been prepared and the one is yet to be prepared.
The Iranian official said that Iran and France would have a joint conference on ecology next month.
Iran is after exporting and exchanging high-tech and attracting funds for joint investment in Iran in the post-sanction period and after signing an agreement with G5+1, he said, adding Iran plans to produce joint chicken with France and export the product.
