Yerevan, Oct 15, IRNA - First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Thursday that Tehran sets no limits for expansion of all-out relations and cooperation with Yerevan.
Jahangiri made the remarks in a meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan where he extended the warm greetings of President Hassan Rouhani and appreciated his kind hospitality to Iranian delegation.
Referring to deeply-rooted ties and good neighborly relations between Iran and Armenia, he said the two countries are determined to maintain the high level of relations and cooperation.
Exchange of high-profile delegations between the two countries help bolster economic cooperation between Iran and Armenia, Jahangiri said.
Joining the Euroasian Economic Union could help uphold Armenia's capability in broadening level of economic cooperation with Iran, Jahangiri said.
Grounds for expansion of cooperation between the two sides' private sectors are well prepared and the two sides should help remove the red tapes, Jahangiri said.
On regional developments, Jahangiri referred to ruthless actions of some countries in backing the Daesh terrorist group and said Daesh is a merciless terrorist group requiring a collective cooperation among regional countries to deal with.
Armenian president, for his part said that Armenia is willing to broaden relations and cooperation with Iran.
'I believe that your visit helps deepen and broaden relations between Tehran and Yerevan,' said Armenian president.
Tehran and Yerevan should identify economic problems and help remove them, he said.
On regional issues, the Armenian president said a large number of Armenians are now living in Syria who have suffered a lot and most parts of their cultural heritage have been damaged by terrorist groups.
