Iran rejects reports about dispatch of troops to Syria

Tehran, Oct 16, IRNA An informed source in Iran's Foreign Ministry, who spoke on condition of anonymity on Friday, rejected reports about the dispatch of Iranian troops to Syria to fight terrorist groups.

There has been no change in Iran's policy for giving advisory helps and sending advisors to Syria, he added.

Rejecting reports on dispatch of battle forces by Iran to Syria, the official noted that through these media reports the enemy is trying to deviate the realities of battle ground in the war-torn region.

These reports are aimed at hiding Western countries' and their regional allies' all-out support for the Takfiri-terrorist groups, he added.

The official said that Iran's support for the defenseless innocent people of Syria and Iraq against the criminal terrorist groups is aimed at returning stability and peace to the region.
