Iran�s Brigadier General Hossein Salami announced that Iran's new high-precision missiles are capable of destroying enemy targets up to 2,000 km away.

"When our defense industries build missiles with a range of 2,000 km and a zero margin of error, this means that we can target any fixed and mobile base in this operational radius with 100% precision and a zero margin of error," Salami said in an interview with the state TV.

He highlighted that Iran will continue fortifying its defensive power, and said, �We don�t study the resolutions (approved to curb Iran's missile power) since we are responsible for developing the power and no one can dictate anything to us,� Salami noted according to Fars News Agency.

On October 11, Iran successfully test-fired the country's new precision-guided long-range ballistic missile that can be controlled until the moment of impact. The missile is called �Emad� and it carries a conventional warhead.

The Iranian Defense Minister repeated that the mass production and delivery of Emad missiles to the country's Armed Forces will considerably increase their power and tactical capabilities.

The Iranian Armed Forces have recently test-fired different types of newly-developed missiles and torpedoes and tested a large number of home-made weapons, tools and equipment, including submarines, military ships, artillery, choppers, aircrafts, UAVs and air defense and electronic systems, during massive military drills.
