Tehran, November 17, The Iran Project- Sharif University of Technology unveiled several technological projects in a ceremony attended by Irans Vice President for Science and Technology Affairs, Sorena Sattari.
On the occasion of the50thanniversary of Sharif University of Technology establishment and the global Week of Entrepreneurship, the university is hosting an exhibition to present thelatest achievements of the technology-knowledge based companies of Sharif University on Tuesday.
Hardware Security Module (HSM), Teb Net Project (a healthcare application and gadget), artificial skin and a vertical-flying drone named Hodhod-3 (Hoopoe) are among the ten projects unveiled in a ceremony attended by Soorena Sattari, Iran's Vice President for Science and Technology Affairs.
Hodhod-3 is a vertically-flying indigenous drone which has been producedby Iranian researchers. This unmanned aerial vehicle is capable of carrying loads of up to tree kilograms.
The presented productions in the exhibition are largely related to the areas of electronic, communications, health and medical science, research and industry and space industry which are available for the exhibition's visitors.
