TEHRAN (Tasnim) A number of Iranian lawmakers are going to visit the countrys nuclear facilities in Fordo and Arak next week, an MP said on Wednesday.
A number of members of the parliaments national security and foreign policy commission are set to pay visits to the Fordo nuclear facility and a heavy-water reactor in Arak, Mohammad Hassan Asafari, a member of the commission told Tasnim.
He noted that the visits will be made as part of efforts to monitor the implementation of a comprehensive nuclear deal between Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany).
Reached in July, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is going to take effect within the next few weeks.
The landmark agreement will terminate all nuclear-related sanctions against Iran in exchange for some limitations on its nuclear program.
