TEHRAN (ISNA)- UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond welcomed Iran's transfer of enriched uranium stockpile to Russia under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), he said in a statement.
"Welcome Iran's latest step to meet nuclear deal commitment to ship out uranium stockpile. Shows solid progress towards full implementation," Hammond said on Twitter.
On Tuesday, a ship with Iran's low-enriched uranium materials left for Russia under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action accepted on July 14 in Vienna.
On July 14, Iran and the P5+1 group of mediators Russia, the United States, China, France and the United Kingdom plus Germany reached an agreement.
