Tehran, Jan 19, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Head of Presidential Office Mohammad Nahavandian left Tehran for Davos, the Switzerland, late on Tuesday to attend World Economic Forum (WEF).
Davos annual meeting slated for January 20-23 will discuss various issues including asylum seekers, severe decline in oil prices, terrorist attacks in different countries and climate changes.
Over 2,500 people from state leaders, non-governmental organizations and commercial institutes from around the world are to participate at the upcoming event.
A delegation from Iran headed by Zarif will also attend the meeting.
World Economic Forum was first set up in Davos in January 1971.
