TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran is one of the regional countries which is a forerunner country in terms of renewable energies, said Indian Union Cabinet Minister for Women & Child Development Maneka Sanjay Gandhi.

India has been moving forward for boosting renewable energies over last one and a half year and has replaced normal lamps with LED ones.

She further said that saving power is one of the issues India has been following and has managed to save 8.000 MW power.

Gandhi has launched international solar energy union with countries enjoying too much sun light to boost technology and use energy better.

�We hope that we can cooperate with Iran in renewable energies
