Tehran, Jan 20, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and head of Presidential Office Mohammad Nahavandian were well received in World Economic Forum in Davos, the Switzerland, as demands for meeting with them were far from anticipation.
It was the first visit by the two Iranian high-ranking officials to Davos since the implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), they were expected to be warmly welcomed but their reception was beyond expectations.
Zarif and Nahavandian left Tehran for Davos, the Switzerland, late on Tuesday to attend World Economic Forum (WEF).
Davos annual meeting slated for January 20-23 will discuss various issues including migrants from the areas battered by terrorism, severe decline in oil prices, terrorist attacks in different countries and climate changes.
Over 2,500 people including state leaders, non-governmental organizations and commercial institutes from around the world will participate in the upcoming event.
