Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said that Tehran and Washington must make efforts to overcome the wall of distrust that separated Iran and the United States for 40 years.

MUNICH (Sputnik) � Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif highlighted on Friday the possibility of restoring normal relations between Tehran and Washington if both sides showed enough political will and made steps to build mutual trust.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Zarif stressed that both sides must make efforts to overcome the wall of distrust that separated Iran and the United States for 40 years.
