Tehran, February 18,The Iran Project A senior official at Iran Airports Holding Company says Iran has the largest network of airports in the region, stressing the importance of continuing to reform the airport services system by the next year.
Rahmatollah Mahabadi CEO & Chairman of Iran Airports Holding Company made the remarks on Thursday during a joint meeting with officials and managers of civil aviation, saying that based on the survey conducted by Irans Civil Aviation Organization, the countrydoesnt need any extra airport, having currently the largest airport network in the whole region.
Referring to the current activities of airports which facilitated the countrys development and soft power, he underlined the plan to reform the airport services system which was begun two months ago in Tehran and Mashhad airports.
Stressing the principle measures taken within the framework of the plan in past months including setting up the office for supervising the quality of airport services, he demanded the civil aviation managers and directors to prepare the ground for a well-regulated airport services system for passengers.
Elsewhere in this meeting, other officials of the Iran Civil Aviation Organization express readiness for all-out support to the airport services reform plan, as well.
