TEHRAN, Feb. 18 (MNA) Irans minister of industry, mine and trade met with Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI) Ammar al-Hakim on Thursday.
Mohammadreza Nematzade, who arrived in Iraq on Wednesday to open the second exhibition of Iran in Iraqi capital, discussed the possible ways of boosting economic ties after the implementation of JCPOA as well as the latest developments of the region with senior Iraqi official.
Iran and Iraq could cooperate in a variety of fields particularly energy and industry, said the Iranian minister, adding, Iran benefits from great experiences in economic and development fields and is fully ready to transfer the experiences to its brother country.
Ammar al-Hakim, for his part, expressed hope that the visit would lead to positive and constructive results in regard to bilateral cooperation.
We have observed the process of nuclear talks from the outside and we witnessed the great developments by which Iran is getting more and more powerful, said the head of ISCI noting the regional developments after JCPOA implementation.
Nematzadeh is also scheduled to hold meetings with a number of Iraqi officials today.
