Tehran, March 3, IRNA Executive director of a Dutch company said on Thursday producing renewable energies is an issue of the day in world and Iran should be an active player side by side of world countries in this field.
Herman Casper who was speaking with IRNA on Thursday, the last day of the 15th Tehran International Environment Exhibition, said that if Iran intends not to lag behind the world nations working in the field of renewable energies it should side by side with them start a harmonious move in that modern scientific field.
'Activities in renewable energies field is quite a commonplace conduct and the world countries due to environmental concerns or energy shortage are focusing on it today,' he said.
Casper said that the existing technologies in Iran differ with the modern approach in Europe presently and Holland is ready for transfer of technology in renewable energies field to Iran to decrease that technological gap.
He further elaborated that both the wind and the solar energy methods in Iran are proper ground for rapid advancement and Holland can contribute in those fields, thanks to the high winds and the good sunlight in many parts of Iran.
The executive director of Holland's The Factory Company, invited to Iran by a group of Iranian young engineers who have founded the German Match Company, is in Iran for talks and interactions with Iranian companies interested in making joint investments in renewable energies field.
