A delegation of Iranian cultural officials headed by Iran's President Cultural Advisor, Hessamedin Ashena, some former Lebanese state officials, an orthodox bishop, some media directors, the Sunni senior clerics, Lebanese members of Iran-Lebanon committee of scientific cooperation, some other literary and poetic figures and representatives from political fractions including 14th of March Alliance and the 8th of March alliance were among the participants in this meeting.
During his speech, Ashena warned about the current threat of Takfiri terrorist group which has enslaved Islam and Christianity and is hostile to culture.
All need to create a united Iranian-Arab, Muslim-Christian front against those who place zero value on civilization and culture, he urged elsewhere in his remarks.
Earlier on Monday, Hesameddin Ashena, said that cultural relations between Iran and Lebanon are more important than political issues.
