Tehran, April 10, IRNA - Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev's upcoming visit to Iran is the beginning of a new era in mutual relations between the two countries, Ambassador of Iran to Kazakhstan Mojtaba Damirchiloo said on Sunday.


Speaking to IRNA, he noted that Tehran and Astana will sign 30 documents for cooperation in various fields of economy, engineering and tourism during the two- day official trip of President Nazarbayev to Iran which begins on Monday.

President Nazarbayev's visit to Iran is a response to President Hassan Rouhani's state visit to Astana in September 2014 and can help boost two countries' all-out ties, the envoy added.

Damirchiloo underlined that Kazakhstan enjoys great potentials for investment and it is the biggest economy in Central Asia.

Nazarbayev will visit Iran, Turkey and Uzbekistan from Apr.11 to Apr.15, Kazakhstan president's press service declared on Apr. 8.

According to dispatches, Nazarbayev will visit Iran Apr. 11-12 at the invitation of Iran's President Hassan Rouhani. The two presidents will discuss the implementation of agreements reached during Rouhani's state visit to Astana in September 2014.

Meanwhile, the ways to strengthen cooperation in trade and economic, investment, agriculture, transit and transport spheres and cooperation in the sphere of international and regional security will also be discussed during Nazarbayev's visit.

The Kazakh president will visit Turkey to attend the 13th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) titled 'Unity and Solidarity for Justice and Peace.'

Nazarbayev will visit Uzbekistan Apr.15, where he will meet with his Uzbek counterpart Islam Karimov. The two presidents will discuss key aspects of the two countries' relations.
