Tehran, April 11, IRNA � With development of its capabilities and capacities, Al-Zahra University can achieve the highest place among all-women universities in the world, Minister of Science, Research and Technology said here Sunday.

In a meeting with the university chancellor and a group of faculty members after touring the development projects of Al-Zahra University, Mohammad Farhadi said he is glad that the university with its strategic planning and the seriousness and perseverance of its management has set its target to rank top among all-women world universities.

Referring to the plans by the Ministry of Science to increase acceptance of foreign students at Iran�s universities, Farhadi stated that Al-Zahra University can absorb many female students from neighboring and Muslim countries.

Also speaking at the meeting, University Chancellor Ms. Ensieh Khazali gave a report on the current status of the university and its development programs in fields of education, research and development.

Building student dormitories, an amphitheater and gymnasium are among Al-Zahra University projects currently underway that were toured by the minister.
