"We expect the Iranian customer will determine site parameters and engineering will start before the year-end," the source said. "Iran should identify seismic parameters," he added.
The first power unit of Iran'sBushehr nuclear power plant obtained the operating license on April 20, the source said. "Receipt of this document was a mandatory condition of final turnover of the power unit to the Iranian customer," he said.
It was reported earlier work on the construction site for the new nuclear power units in Iran may start in thecoming two years. Investments are estimated to total $11 bln.
