TEHRAN, Jun. 01 (MNA) Head of Iranian National Space Agency (INSA) said the agency is planning to increase international cooperation in the field of space sciences and technology.
Manouchehr Manteghi made the announcement on the sideline of his visit of Iranian Space Research Center (ISRC) on Wed., adding we have signed many MoUs with other countries on space sciences and technology, and have reached fair agreements with some of them for which the IRSC can have a more active presence.
In line with the countrys second 10-year space program, the main missions of university centers and some technology centers have been determined and are currently under implementation, he added.
Manteghi maintained that the ISRC has good potential in achieving certain key technologies necessary in the area of space.
The INSA director also visited the test and integration center for space systems at the ISRC which became operational in February 2016. He also made a visit to the Institute of Space Transportation Systems and was informed of the facilities and equipment installed in the center and its capacities for developing the countrys space systems.
