Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak will hold talks with his colleagues from India, Venezuela and Iran on the sidelines of the upcoming SPIEF.
DUSHANBE (Tajikistan) (Sputnik) Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said onFriday that he would hold talks withhis colleagues fromIndia, Venezuela and Iran atthe upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"There will be plenty [of meetings atSPIEF], withheads ofoil and gas companies, the ministers ofIndia, Venezuela and Iran," Novak told reporters.
He specified that he would meet withthe energy ministers ofIndia and Venezuela, aswell aswith the head ofthe Iranian industry ministry.
The 2016 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which is being held underthe auspices ofRussian President Vladimir Putin, is due totake place onJune 16-18. The forum is attended annually bybusiness representatives and officials fromdozens ofcountries.
