Tehran, July 5, IRNA Secretary of Supreme Council of Free Trade and Special Economic Zones Ali Akbar Torkan said the establishment of seven new trade zones and 12 special economic zones will play an effective role in enhancing border exchanges and promote relations with neighboring countries.
Talking to IRNA on Tuesday, he hoped the bill proposing establishment of new zones will get the positive vote of Iranian parliamentarians.
He said neighboring countries provide the best markets for Iranian goods and stressed the need for promoting border exchanges.
Torkan noted that a bill has been proposed to the parliament on need for establishment of free trade zones in border areas in Mehran, Inche Boroun, Baneh and Marivan, Jask and Bushehr as well as in Sistan,Baluchestan province.
