Tehran, July 12, IRNA - Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Farhadi said on Tuesday that Iran and Romania are broadening scientific cooperation.
Farhadi made the remarks in a meeting with Romanian Ambassador to Tehran Christian Teodorescu.
Farhadi said that he was pleased to see that Romanian ambassador has good command of the Persian language and his knowledge about Iranology is admirable.
Iran welcomed expansion of cooperation with Romania in science and technology, saying that Iran is keen on implementation of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on setting up joint educational courses, exchange of university students and professors and promotion of Persian language courses in Romania.
The Romanian ambassador who is a graduate of Tehran University thanked the Iranian minister and called for implementation of MoU signed between the two sides ministry of science many years ago.
