TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran and Bulgaria called for mutual cooperation in various sectors of peaceful nuclear energy.
Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi, Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, and Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova met in Tehran.
During the meeting, Salehi welcomed exchanging experiences on scientific and academic cooperation between the two countries.
Tomislav Donchev, for his part, highlighted his countrys capability in peaceful nuclear energy, and said the two countries can work in waste management, decommissioning, boosting power plants lifespan, and cooperation between Bulgarian Academy of Science and relevant research centers in Iran.
