Tehran, July 22, IRNA Iranian Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Ali Tayyebnia and UNCTAD General Secretary Mukhisa Kituyi stressed enhancement of bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting held on Thursday on the sidelines of 14th session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Nairobi of Kenya, Tayyebnia explained achievements made by Iran during the sanctions era and the countrys program for the post-sanctions era.
Iran has made significant achievements in improving its business environment, he added.
The economy minister called for transfer of experience between UNCTAD and Iran and development of all-out ties.
UNCTAD general secretary for his part hailed Iran success in decreasing inflation and making economic stability.
Praising Iran's efforts for making stability in the region and good engagement with the world, Kituyi accepted Tayyebnia's invitation for visiting Iran.
Ali Tayyebnia, heading a delegation, arrived in Nairobi on Monday morning to attend the 14th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.
Ministers and senior officials from 194 countries attended the conference.
