TEHRAN, Aug. 04 (MNA) An informed source in the Foreign Ministry has rejected speculations that Irans charge d'affaires has exchanged messages with Palestinian ambassador to London.
The informed source denied that such a meeting had taken place between Iran and Palestine in London following a meeting between Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas and the head of MEK, Mujahedeen-e-Khalq, an anti-Iran terrorist group exiled in France and Iraq, Maryam Rajavi, earlier this week. The meeting enraged the political circles in Iran who supports Palestinian cause in foreign policy.
Interpreted from Tehran, such meetings would be disparaging to Abbass prestige as a respected Palestinian leader whom the international community recognize as the authority in Palestinian affairs.
