Airbus-300 makes emergency landing in Isfahan

Isfahan, Aug 8, IRNA Airbus-300 with 236 passengers on board made an emergency landing in Isfahan on Monday morning when the No. 2 engine ran out of service.

Director of the flight operations supervision Department at Isfahan's Shahid Beheshti International Airport Ali Mostafavi told IRNA that the plane was on route from Bushehr to Tehran, but, it could not proceed with the task and made emergency landing in the middle of the way.

The flight No. 406 of the Islamic Republic of Iran Airlines (Iran Air), carrying 236 passengers on board, landed at Isfahan airport and all the 236 passengers were taken to Tehran from Isfahan by an extraordinary flight.
