The top Iranian parliamentarian wished success and prosperity for Nasrallah and the resistance fighters as well as the Lebanese people.
Larijani also extended his congratulations to Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri over the resistance fronts victory against the Tel Aviv regime.
About 1,200 Lebanese, most of them civilians, were killed in the Israeli war on Lebanon in the summer of 2006. However, Hezbollah fighters defeated the Israeli military, forcing Tel Aviv to retreat without achieving any of its objectives.
Lebanon is suffering from the spillover of militancy in neighboring Syria, where foreign-backed terrorists have been fighting the Damascus government since 2011.
Daesh and Jabhat Fath al-Sham terrorists have been active on the areas situated close to the Syrian border.
Hezbollah fighters have been assisting Syrian army forces inside Syria and have fended off several Daesh attacks inside Lebanon as well.
Hezbollah has repeatedly accused the Israeli regime of supporting militants in Syria, saying Tel Aviv provides assistance to terrorist groups such as Daesh and Jabhat Fath al-Sham.
