Tehran, Aug 18, IRNA � Members of the Takfiri terrorists identified and killed by the police in Kermanshah in recent weeks, have been eliminated in a sniper operation by the police special unit, says the Iranian police speaker.

The operation that stopped the Takfiri terrorists was the result of joint efforts by all the security apparatuses, said Brigadier General Saeed Montazer al-Mahdi, referring to Iran's recent anti-terrorist operation in west of the country.

The police has dominance over the Takfiri terrorists and continue to keep an eye on their activities, Montazer al-Mahdi said.

'We will not allow them to undertake any activities in Iran,' he said.

Terrorist groups affiliated with the Takfiris were busted in Kermanshah Province on Monday and Tuesday.

They were preparing themselves to conduct suicide attacks in different parts of Iran.
