September 13, The Iran Project Director of theSacred Defense Publishers'Association announced that a total of 25 book titles on sacred defense will be displayed in five different languages at the 68th Frankfurt Book Fair.
Speaking to a reporter on Tuesday, Director of theSacred Defence Publishers'Association Mohsen Mehrabadi referred to the Associations plans to attend the 68th Frankfurt Book Fair, saying we are going to display 25 book titles on sacred defense in English, Arabic, Turkish, Russian and Urdu.
The Association should try hard to present the literature of resistance and sacred defense since Westerners create some limitation to prevent the introduction of such a literature, Mehrabadi noted.
Also Amir-Masoud Shahramnia, the managing director of Iran's Cultural Fairs Institute announced earlier that Iran will take part in the 68th Frankfurt Book Fair along with over 70 countries.
Iran has been taking part in the event for 11 years and a special pavilion has been designated for displaying Iranian publications, he added.
The 68th Frankfurt Book Fair will run fromOctober 19-23.
Last year, Iran boycotted Frankfurt Book Fair over the apostate writer Salman Rushdies invitation as a guest speaker.
Salman Rushdie, the British Indian novelist and writer was sentenced to death by former Iranian supreme leader Imam Khomeini for insulting Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his fourth novel, The Satanic Verses, which was written in 1988 and sparked global protests by Muslims around the world.
